About

The Whole System

The Whole System is a visual representation of ideational scaffolding utilizing the Whole Brain metaphor. It is a conceptual framework known as a Charlie's Conceptual Cube

Embedded in the Whole System are:

  • Problem-solving sequence
  • Knowledge platform
  • Memory palace
  • Practice process
  • Proof of principle

The organizing principle of the Whole System means that the framework carries the burden of process, platform, palace, practice, and proof

The dimensions of the Whole System each have three segments map to the Whole Brain

1. Steps (Back to Front)

Past, Present, and Future

2. Layers (Up and Down)

Memory, Awareness, and Imagination

3. Divisions (Side to Side)

Technology, Creativity, and Humanity

Each segment has five Steps, Layers, or Divisions for example:

Steps:

    • 1. Start/ Beginning
    • 2. Goal/ Objective
    • 3. Strategy/ Vision
    • 4. Structure/ Missions
    • 5. Execution/ Implementation

Layers:

    • 1. Concept/ Element
    • 2. Concept/ Lesson
    • 3. Curriculum/ Course
    • 4. Catalog/ Subject
    • 5. College/ Library

Divisions:

    • 1. Personal/ Individual
    • 2. Social/ Group
    • 3. Organizational/ Company
    • 4. Political/ Govern
    • 5. Civilizational/ World

The Whole System provides a pattern recognition user interface as a Whole Brain three dimensional conceptual framework for the mind that goes beyond for example,

    • Dewey Decimal System
    • Library of Congress
    • World Wide Web
